Surrounded by a beautiful canyon lies the ruin after Elinghem’s old parish church, built in the 13th century but later abandoned, probably in the 17th century. The limestone altar table is preserved from the 13th century, and probably the baptismal font is as old. It was found in pieces in the 1920s. In summer, church services are held in the ruin, which is also a popular place for weddings.
