Even during the summer of Sweden it may be nice to crawl up in front of the fireplace or heat the house with the stove in the kitchen to get that really nice fire of heat.
It’s great to cook in the fireplace in the living room and in the stove in the kitchen. All dampers are constantly open so there must be natural draft in both cookers. However, it may be a problem if any of the doors or windows are open at the time of ignition. Just shut down for a while, then pull back.
Firewood is located in the bar next to the fireplace. Please use as much as you need but fill in the corresponding amount of own wood that you can buy in Visby before leaving the cottage.
NOTE! Never leave the fire in the fireplace without supervision. Depending on what you are using, sparks may spread on the floor.
